The Senior Fitness Certification is a 100% online, self-paced course designed for personal trainers and group fitness instructors in Singapore who want to specialise in training older adults. Singapore's population is ageing rapidly — and the 50+ market is now one of the biggest opportunities in the fitness industry. This certification gives you the skills, confidence and credibility to serve it.
The certification combines our Training Older Adults Level 1 and Level 2 courses. You'll cover the theory of ageing and exercise, practical programming, real-life case studies and live workout demonstrations with older adults. On passing the final assessments, you'll receive your certification within 24 hours — plus 2.7 CEUs (NASM/AFAA) and 2.0 CECs (ACE), so the course also counts toward your existing re-certification requirements.

If you encounter any technical issues or have general questions about the course, you can reach out to our dedicated support team. We’re here to assist you with any concerns you may have, ensuring a smooth learning experience.
For course-specific questions, you can directly email the course presenter. Whether you need clarification on the material or advice on applying the concepts, the presenter is available to guide you through the content. Contact details will be provided within the course materials.
Join our Facebook group for course participants, where you can connect with peers, share insights, and ask questions. The group is a supportive community where both fellow students and course instructors are active, offering additional tips and encouragement as you progress.
Yes. The certification is approved by ACE, NASM and AFAA — internationally recognised bodies whose credentials are widely accepted by gyms and fitness employers in Singapore. On completion you'll receive 2.7 CEUs (NASM/AFAA) and 2 CECs (ACE).
The course is designed for personal trainers and group fitness instructors. If you're not yet certified, you can still complete the course, but we recommend holding a base fitness qualification to get the most out of it.
There's approximately 20 hours of coursework, and it's completely self-paced with no time limit — most trainers finish within a few weeks studying part-time.
All assessments are multiple-choice (no video submissions required). You have unlimited attempts at no extra cost.
Your certificate and CECs are delivered within 24 hours of passing your final assessment.
Level 1 covers the foundations of training older adults — theory, practical programming, case studies and live workouts. Level 2 builds on this with more advanced programming and additional case studies and workouts. The certification includes both.
